Cost effective to purchase
Due to developments in diode technology and the manufacturing process, the cost of purchasing laser technology has been significantly reduced. Diode running time is upwards of 5,000-10,000 hours (compared to 2,000 hours for gas lasers). Solid-state laser diodes, unlike their gas counterparts, only generate running time when the diode is emitting. The laser can be switched on without clocking up running time. Additionally, if the diode is not being used in an effect, it is not clocking up time.
- The X5 and CX Laser systems are capable of 3D animation and commercial applications due to advances in scanning head technology.
- The CX6 Full Color is the size of a small suitcase weighing only 50kg and is easily portable to installations (Replacing gas laser weighing over 200kg including their water pump cooling and 3 phase power transformer).
